Can you install applications in any other way on windows?
Yes, Windows has an app store, and a CLI package manager called Winget now.
But the Windows app store is garbage and Windows users are pathologically afraid of the terminal so…effectively no.
I tried giving Winget a try but it kind of sucks.
You can just run the portable version without installing.
