Holding it for 3 days didn’t cause your cognitive decline ya clowns. Your cognitive decline is why you held it for 3 days tough.

Some people regularly poop once every three days. No holding anything in. It’s perfectly normal.

For anyone curious about the article

This research wasn’t “designed to test the causal relationship between bowel movements, the gut microbiome and cognitive health, so we cannot firmly draw conclusions regarding the precise causal sequence underlying this association,” Ma said.

They believe it might have to do with medication side effects, gut biome, fiber intake, and exercise frequency all of which influence your frequency.

Isn’t cognitive decline a requirement to join Lemmy?

Is that a publication using the word “pooping” to speak to adults?

In the beginning of the migration there was a guy that asked for help on how to not poop for 3 or some days and would not tell anyone why, this sparked a bunch of memes, I don’t have any to link but they should be easy to find if one is interested.

I’m reading it as, Lemmings nervously worried we were entertained by the self-inflicted plight of a user that may have caused them cognitive decline.

          also, poop joke funny

Yea, it became an inside joke. After the big migration, a lot of us were thinking about how things will work out, we were unsure and uncertain. I logged in one day and saw this post, cryptic and engulfing. Here is the said post. It was a roll.
