any place where 50% of the population is treated as meat is not a place any human should purposefully go.

Hmm? What does evolutionary fitness have to do with the barbarians destroying art they had no hope of imitating that honors a philosophical achievement that no random pedophile warlord could even hardly grasp?

I mean, literally? Foolish choices of the past are limiting economic opportunities of the present, meaning they will have less success compared to their peers, other nations. The concept of natural selection doesn’t have to be limited to literal generational gene transfer, but can be applied to other areas. I mean technically you might be better served thinking of it more in terms of game theory or some shit, but a hand-waving application of natural selection isn’t terrible.

It wasn’t actually my comment, just my interpretation of what they were trying to say. Still, I’m fairly confident that’s what they were getting at.

Yeah, see this is why it’s important to have a project plan beforehand. If we’d known “tourism” was on the roadmap we’d have done a few things differently.

Maybe they can let tourists throw the first stone. I’m sure that would appeal to a niche demographic underserved by the tourism market.

Wasn’t there some influencer who went there last year to prove he was safer there than in the West and they murdered him?

Found it - Miles Routledge, and he wasn’t murdered, “just” captured and held prisoner by the Taliban for eight months.

Miles described his time of imprisonment as a “holiday” and “living the lap of luxury”, saying he was kept in a luxurious guest house, with several Taliban servants, and that he has been treated well during his time there, even being able to buy an Xbox, and being well fed with foods like pizza and kebabs. He recently went back to Afghanistan to visit his friends in the GDI and plans to open businesses such a gold mine there

I heard they don’t even chop off your head anymore! I was floored! They only scratch it a little now. It’s like that Catholic thing where they mark the doors red and they mark their forehead with ashes. But they do run you over and stone you. It’s an improvement.
