Suggesting Democrats are doing “everything possible” on an issue like healthcare is absolutely wild.
The last time we heard Dems talk about healthcare was when Bernie pressured candidate Biden into “supporting” a public option. Then once elected, with control of congress, Dems didn’t even broach the subject.
No, you don’t get it. Democrats are the best at everything and always doing whatever possible to solve all issues in the US and abroad. Hence why what’s happening in Gaza is completely unstoppable, why healthcare sucks so much because it’s an unsolvable problem etc.
I’ve got the opposite impression from the Democratic Party; ever since 2016 the only thing they seem to be capable of telling the American people is “at least we’re not as bad as The Other Guy!”

I just got off of a rotation at a medical shelter in Asheville. Politicians and pundits are playing the blame game. The victims and volunteers are rolling their sleeves up and doing the work. The clown show taking place around them is the furthest thing from their minds right now and they’re better for it

My aunt somehow managed to wedge Kamala and North Carolina into a conversation about my grandmother.
She said, it’s not doing anything and I wanted to tell her, as the vp, the vice president shouldn’t be doing anything other than directing other people to do things.
But you can’t argue with crazy, you can’t feed the trolls, so I just told her I don’t pay attention to the news because all anyone wants to do on the news is tell you the most horrible things they can imagine so that you’ll keep listening to the news and that got her off that topic to Armageddon or something.
It’s probably more complicated, but I wonder how much their opinions would change if they didn’t have cable or Facebook. Like a Netflix & Disney sub were the only things on their TV, you’d be hearing about Paul & Prue instead.
