I want to finally get a desk that I can sit at comfortably.
Primecables has sales often and is having one right now for standing desks

They’re somewhat Canadian, and this is what others have recommended to me. But I would think that the products are cheaply made, and the company simply imports from places with cheap manufacturing.
On Costco’s website I see similar desks, more expensive but Costco has a nice return policy.
Any recommendations?
I did get a motion grey height adjustable desk, made in canada and they’re great quality.
American here, bought from Motion Grey, located in BC. Good customer service and the desk has been operating every day with no issues. Not a fan of their accessories, but the core desk is solid in my opinion.
I don’t need accessories, but what is wrong with them?
Small/tiny. The monitor stand barely holds my two monitors, had to downgrade my pc case to fit the under desk mount. I use them, but if I were doing it again, I’d just get the desk
I got mine from https://www.sourceofficefurniture.ca/.
If you have any questions about the desk or the company I’d be glad to answer if I can.
I got mine from Structube (family owned Canadian business from Montreal), and I’ve had absolutely no complaints. It’s nothing special, but it does the job nicely. Three programmable heights, holds my triple monitor setup without complaints and its smooth enough that I can raise and lower it with a cup of coffee on the desk and not spill.
I got mine from Effydesk and am extremely happy with it. It’s super sturdy with no wobble, quiet and smooth operation and has a hidden, built-in induction charger.
Primecable’s products are manufactured in China
I have one of their chairs and it’s a step above Staples. I wouldn’t recommend buying a standing desk from them.
Maybe Ikea if not Costco?
I didn’t know Ikea had them. I will look
Ikea’s standing desks are built pretty good and look nice, but not many of them have height preset buttons on the controllers. One of them also requires an app on your phone to set and use presets, and the app is basically broken from what the reviews of it say.
So do your research and look into reviews on the model(s) you’re interested in.
