Hi everyone! I believe it is important to introduce people to this whole new concept of the fediverse, so I wrote an introductory, semi-in-depth post about it, and I’d like your opinions on it. Should I add anything? Remove anything?

As someone who has recently joined that was really informative. Everything else I’ve read explains the ‘what’ without really explaining the ‘how’.

Only thing I would say is the apps comment is a bit outdated. For example wefwef is now voyager (which I just installed try and am typing this now in it). Jerboa, not Gerboa.
