            That, from the perspective of Taiwan (aka the Republic of China) mainland China (aka People’s Republic of China) to it’s west is an illegitimate government that lays claim to lands still claimed by the RoC from before the revolution.

                I don’t think disdain for a government that thinks concentration camps are a good idea is something that should be considered controversial, but that’s just me.

                  I don’t think every single conversation about the world has to devolve into whatever this is. The sky is blue. Everyone knows the sky is blue. So, we don’t have to say “The sky is blue” every time we talk about clouds.
