That’s the best summary of Batman Forever I’ve ever seen.
Also, it’s just pure, undistilled 1995. Anyone younger here who might wonder what 1995 was like can just pop in a VHS of Batman Forever. (It should be a VHS for full effect.)
They’re all kinda the same atrocity. Somebody gave me the Game Boy version, as a loose cart, and I don’t think it’s meaningfully different from either 16-bit game, or the PC version. Just a bad beat-em-up in the form of a worse platformer bolted onto the Mortal Kombat engine. And if I had a nickel etc., I’d have two nickels.
Everything about that movie was great, except the movie.

wheres the vertical hold?
Ugh gotta adjust the goddamn tracking again
And the game.
Just… holy shit, the game.
Games. The SNES shit was just one of many atrocities.

Yeah, you can’t really enjoy any of it since the movie itself is unwatchable
Same joke but worse.
I’ll make it worse.
Watching that movie is like trying to enjoy a popsicle made of poop in a blizzard - it’s a mess you just can’t escape.
You’re thinking of Batman and Robin.
Batman Forever is a decent kids’ movie.
It is a FANTASTIC comedy.
