Unquestionably Aliens. As a kid I recorded it to VHS from the TV and watched and watched and watched it.

I deliberately didn’t watch it for around the last 10 years waiting on the 4K version to come out. Totally worth it.

Same for me. I used to watch it 20 minutes at a time while I did my boots and uniform every night. Probably watched it 100 times total in 3 years, in 20 minute chunks.

20+ years later I can still say pretty much all the dialog as the movie plays, which as my ex can attest is initially impressive and quickly becomes irritating. 😁

CarbonatedPastaSauce…we are kindred spirits across the ether. I’d say I’m close to 100 watches overall too.

If you haven’t seen the 4K version yet, treat yo’self. The extra detail in the guns, uniforms, clothes, models etc. absolutely blew my mind. You can really see Cameron’s attention to detail.

Yeah! That’s why the movie holds up after all this time. Glorious practical effects. There’s no CGI to look outdated. The limitations on the flight scenes I can forgive.

I actually completely forgave them (nearly). For the most part I thought they looked great.

Totally agree about the lack of CGI helping with not dating it.

My friend got me this t-shirt for my last birthday which I’m sure you’ll enjoy…
