Joshua Dean, one of the first whistleblowers to allege Spirit AeroSystems execs had ignored manufacturing defects on the 737 MAX, died after a sudden illness.

you can point and laugh all you want but the real meat of this story is that trust in our institutions is this low.

Would you trust your baby alone in the woods with a random man or a Boeing exec?

Sorry. Bears have mysteriously shot themselves in the head.

Execs have the most psychopats and narcicists, so the chances of them abandoning the kid are high.

          They wouldn’t abandon a child.

They would use the child as much as possible to save themselves. Noisemaker for a search party, small hands to reach into tight spaces, easy bear escape mechanism, etc.

No – I’m not saying we should trust our current institutions, nor that I trust them, but it does seem to be a big problem

Isn’t that exactly what Repubicans did with the election?

-Make a bunch of baseless claims of fraud

-“Look guys we need to do something, trust in the election process is low!”

Well yeah – The loss of decorum in the ruling class/aristocracy started rolling down the hill with Newt. Once you get a Caeser it’s just a matter of time before your Nero shows up.
