But like @Boozilla@lemmy.world said Don’t bother yourself over it. That way lies madness. It mainly useful for admins to detect if there is some vote manipulation going on.

Votes aren’t private on the fediverse, it’s just a that some interfaces won’t display them. Also, instance admins can see who voted too.
