minus-square@cmnybo@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglish2•13 hours agoSSDs are not suitable for long term storage. Modern consumer grade SSDs are only rated for 1 year of data retention without power. Only SLC flash is suitable for long term storage, but those are very expensive and low capacity.
