I haven’t been to Reddit for a few days, I’ve also completely deleted my data and my profile from Reddit, and I don’t want to return.

Are we here to stay? Are you moving back to the Warframe subreddit? Are we moving elsewhere, like the official forum, for example?

Personally, I like Lemmy although I miss being able to use GIFs and directly upload videos, so I’m happy if we decide to stay here.

I don’t really use reddit a ton anymore but tbh I don’t think I’ll be staying here either.

I hated the reddit redesign on desktop because it did some annoying things like waste a ton of space, and sadly Lemmy on desktop has similar usability issues to new.reddit in that regard. I could fix it with userstyles (like I could new reddit), but I’d much rather not have to. These are things that can be fixed dev-side too, but until that happens I really just don’t like using the default lemmy experience.

Also I use iOS and the iOS app selection for Lemmy is severely lacking, the app that does exist (Mlem) does not have great usability imo

I don’t think I’m going back to reddit much without a 3rd party app (and I’m not paying to use one), but at the same time, I agree about Lemmy. The web app is pretty buggy, and really not good on mobile web. For example I had to reload the page for the reply button to respond to this comment on desktop, and on several occasions I click on a random post on the mobile page and it’s brought me to some kind of editing page rather than loading the post to reply.

That said, of the official forums, reddit, and lemmy, lemmy is the least bad right now and seems like it has the best future. It at least has 3rd party app support on mobile, and isn’t actively trying to sabotage its mobile web experience even if it needs work.
