Hollywood desperately needs to break the habit of explaining the whole damn movie and showing off the villain in the trailer…
They could have at least left some stuff to the imagination instead of giving us the entire frosty ball, horny demon plot along with “Melnitz in uniform!”
Not sure it will get that many comments based on the score, but let’s see
I couldn’t watch the trailer without thinking of the Night King.
And it seemed like they were trying to create a hard to hate ensemble cast. Suspiciously so.
I watched it yesterday and I thought it was a pretty standard, washed out movie.
The only part that got a solid laugh from me was Kumail’s performance and how Lucky was talking about his Dadi like that when they went to his flat. Dadi is Hindi/Urdu for your paternal grandmother.
I also appreciate the decorations the employees did at the theatre. They’re all cool people :)
