The titles says all
For context I just finished my bachelor’s and I’m confused as fuck also I really don’t wanna be in the third world now
I’m in my early/mid forties and still feel lost occasionally.
I think it’s a thing about being an adult. It’s not to be feared but embraced. Besides, it means you are thinking and not just doing.
The wilderness gives you time to find your own direction.
Still, it is a little disquieting. You’ll make it through, I promise, but you’ll end up back there too.
Thanks a lot
Congratulations on finishing your bachelor. Do you already have a job lined up?
It’s okay to feel lost, most of us do at times. It comes and go.
No I want to go for higher studies honestly get into US
If it makes you feel any better I grew up in and went to school in the US and I felt lost when I graduated.
That’s nice
But for once I wanna experience the best in class learning
Good luck!
Thanks just planning to rob banks
What’s your bachelors in?
Technology, electronics and communication
Thanks a lot
My final parent passed away recently, and after a chain reaction of events, my older sisters have begun to ghost me, and anyone else I might care about is hundreds of miles away. I feel so aimless and without any sense of autopilot/instinct that I feel like the wind could drift me anywhere.
Hey you know it’s gonna be alright
Maybe take a trip
And sorry for your loss
Thanks. I wish it seemed like it will be, certainly at least one of my circumstances would have to miraculously change.
It might change miraculously but even if it doesn’t it will change it slowly
Hang in there bro
All the time. Ita scary, but in the end we keep on going. It gets better sometimes.
Thanks a lot bro
Is that Thailand? If I had to be in the third world, I think that’s where I’d pick.
I’m well out of your age bracket, so I don’t know that my current ennui is comparable to the rudderless feelings of that age. I remember it, but I just kinda bumble-fucked my way through it. I believe things tend to work out and eventually you’ll find the place life is preparing you for.
India
Haven’t been. I’d like to see it some day.
Just an advice don’t until you wanna see abject poverty
Good luck, my friend. You will find a path.
Thanks a lot
It’s so bad right now.
I hope things improve for you.
Thanks a lot man
Quack. Ducks! Quack! Or wait… Geese? Swans? I’m pretty lost.
I think duck swan hybrid
What are you confused about?
Are you traveling?
Traveling usually helps me find myself.
Collages
I tried traveling just made me more anxious
Traveling isn’t for everybody. That’s fine.
You’re confused about which college to go to?
More like how
education in states is really expensive
And you don’t want to go to any international institutions, you definitely want to study at a college within the United States?
If so, I did a lot of college prep for students, and as far as I’m aware, there is very little difference in the quality of education itself depending on location.
You can go to a less expensive University for higher education without missing out on the actual quality of education.
The networking or prestige may not be the same at ever university, but that hardly affects your textbooks, the labs, the professors or the academic outcome of your education.
If you’re certain which field of study you find rewarding and you’re sure that studying is what you want to do with your life in the near future, but money is a primary concern, then choose the least expensive route to pursue your studies.
Education in that specific country is expensive, but if you are certain that’s where you want to study, then the only thing left is to do it.
I meant as a research output I want to do a PhD as well networking might help a lot in landing such opportunities
