So, I’ve reached the Genetic Glitch objective… I’m in the Andalen Osaka system… the one the third gate takes you to.
I’ve found the light creature on the Planet of Light but hunting for every animal across an entire planetary body has never been my thing. I really don’t want to do it for five planets (none of the others stand out as being able to spawn anom animals).
Where’s the other anomalous animal and about what does it look like? Is it terrestrial or does it live in air, underground, or water?
There is only one animal on the Planet of Light. Just go thru the next portal, you’ll have another anomalous planet.
But I found a second animal on the Planet of Light… I feel the game is trolling me. Not just this time but also now with the Alien Ruins. 100.00 (repeating)% of the time it’s not ruins.
For the Alien ruins I flew to a comm ball and got it.
I bought maps, worked like a charm. Got the UFO now.
I bought maps too but I could only get ancient ruins.
Strange, it was marked as 1/1 for me.
For the ruins, in both case I got them using an observatory.

Does your came with a cockpit when viewed from outside? Mine got a void.
Yeah, I’ve got a cockpit. The glass is tinted so I can’t see in from outside but it’s pretty plain to see that it’s tinted glass, not an absence of texture.
Mine got no glass, and I can see through the ship 😅.
There was a “plated” planet (I think) in one of the systems that had a bunch of the new robot animals. I forget which one and I’m already done with the Expedition, so I can’t easily pull it up and see. It might still be in my discovery list, but it’ll be a while before I can look.
Thanks, I’ve found it regardless. It was on the of Light planet on the far side in spite of the UI telling me there was only one animal on the planet. (Why must NMS troll me?)
