Hey folks, I was hoping to get some advice on a build that can solo Iso Vaults for Necraloid rep. My best primary is a Kuva Bramma that can handle all the regular enemies. I just need to figure out a good combination of secondary and melee that can handle the necramech boss at the end. Based on the stats on the wiki, would a corrosive damage melee weapon be good? Probably coupled with a high status secondary with blast damage? Thanks in advance.

You can quickly murder the necramechs using your own necramech.

Press 2, press 4, shoot off both arms (aim for the shoulders) and you’re good.

If you don’t have a necramech, uhhh… ask someoen who does to join you until you do :V

I’m pretty sure mechs are weak to radiation and immune to status. You want something hard hitting with a wide aoe like the catchmoon, arca plasmor, stropha, and I’m sure the nataruk would work. They’d make hitting the weak points easier. You’d probably be okay with a good shotgun or redeemer prime (I haven’t tried myself, but I see no reason it wouldn’t work).

I’m sure you could do the job with any warframe as long as you’re comfortable with it, but subsuming silence onto your frame is a good idea. It turns off mech abilities turning them into sitting ducks. I also can’t not recommend invisible warframes because mechs can’t kill what they can’t see. Or use revenant for easy immortality and some cc.

My set up is octavia because of her cc and invisibility with silence over her rolling ball. Primary is an explosive aoe, secondary is whatever, and melee is stropha to deal with the mech.

Oh, you’re right, wiki does say radiation. Not sure what made me think corrosive. I’ll check out Catchmoon, haven’t really looked at modular weapons in general tbh. My most run frame is Nezha, and I’ve actually done it once or twice with him due to the damage boost from his 2, but I’m not confident I can do it every single time. Thanks for the feedback, definitely gives me something to think about.

Recommend a Silence tank too, like Nezha or Revenant. I actually farm them on Banshee, since they seem to be susceptible to Condemn, and she stops their invuln mechanics with Silence. She can also remove Bonewidow’s armour, but not Voidrig for some reason.

Stropha has the nice property of being able to hit the back weakpoint through the front of the mechs. Grattler’s radial effect also seems to have this property, if you have your own mech.

If you’re going to slot Silence onto Nezha, do you drop 1 or 4?

To be honest, I solo Iso vaults with a Rhino with Gloom and a Radiation based Nataruk + Kuva Nukor for armor stripping and minions.

Gloom slows the Mechs more than enough to make every point easy to hit and they seldomly get to shoot anything on note back at you. And Rhino should be able to shruck off most of whatever else might hit you while you’re dealing with the guardian.

It’s a bit cheesy, but it gets the job done fairly fast.

Heck, that would mean farming up a Sevagoth, as well as farming Entrati rep for Helminth. It’s a rough life when you’re bad at video games :/

Well yeah, I mean… That is kinda the game.

Isn’t it just a matter of what you’re grinding for?

While we’re on the topic of slow, I’ve had some luck in the past using the Zenurik operator slow ability against the mechs.

Can Defy or Mallet still be used to cheese mechs? Other than that, Invisibility + Heavy Attack Stropha modded for Radiation is probably the easiest way to kill them. Just watch out for Voidrig’s damage reflect when it initially casts its Storm Shroud.

*It seems that nechramechs are now very resistant to/immune to Mallet. The best way I found to kill one was modding a Heavy Attack Stropha for combo efficiency and using Ash’s Bladestorm Augment to build combo for it. Just make sure to destroy the mech’s arms before attacking the weak point on the back, and any weapon to proc Cold helps a lot with making sure the enemy stops spinning around to face you.

Ash: Seeking Shuriken is optional, just try to avoid fully stripping the mech or mod for Blast Damage instead if you do plan on fully striping the Mech.

Kong with silence and (only) radiation ignis wraith was my go-to for farming them when I was doing it.

I use a pretty wacky Mesa build for Deimos in general, mostly because she can melt just about anything that’s there in a second. I also use my Felarx for everything else

I actually would advise against Mesa, since Deimos enemies have ranged melee for some stupid reason (the big immobile guys that shoot tendrils through the ground at ridiculous distances can be totally out of sight when they do it) and Mesa’s defences will be useless.

My early solo strat was using Wisp and my Archgun. Wisp is still my goto for it, though I summon my mech to nuke the bastards down in like 3 second flat.
