        Maybe something along the lines of

        “These tariffs are expensive and need to be handled in a measured way. That doesn’t seem to be happening now. Since we don’t know what this administration is going to do from day to day in regards to tariffs, I don’t have an answer for you.”

          I feel like this is a question better suited for an executive to answer. There’s no need for Tom Cruise to talk about Trump or tariffs at all, at least while on a press tour.

              I think because he’s involved with the film it’s more than fair to ask him the question, but the actual executives who deal with things like licensing agreements and setting various fees to lease the rights for the content would have better and more accurate answers on this situation than Tom Cruise.
