For the last long while I’ve considered the feelings people are having as similar to a dog that barks before an earthquake or when cows lay down before it rains. There may not be an understanding of the origins of our prophetic rumblings but their validity should not be discounted.

As for what form our future will take I find it sad watching all of you struggle with the evidentiary overload. It is not nearly as important to worry about what will happen as it is to decide what common outcomes there will be and how you want to prepare for them. Food and energy supply, gone. Government control and protection, gone. Reliability of these networks people talk of building, gone. What do you want to do in these circumstances? Starve? Kill? Die?

None of this is worth worrying about. Don’t let anxiety paralyze you. If you choose to do something then look at the broader picture. Do things that lead you to where you think you’ll be content. Learn to kill. Learn to die. Learn to survive. Many are taking that approach.

One last point. There is much of humanity that holds such promise. There is also much that proves our animal origins. My personal take is that we should absolutely be exterminated, though I’ve chosen to try to survive. Had we overcome our notion that our goodness as a species was beyond our taking the necessary steps to avoid this outcome, perhaps we would have conducted the necessary genetic engineering and population control that could have saved us. To be fair, very few would have thought this was even possible 50 or 100 years ago, but any such thoughts were very carefully controlled by people who knew better or were intentionally blinded by greed. It is these people I will be taking out my frustration on.

Sorry, I know this is not a positive message. It’s never popular to say the quiet parts out loud. The main point is I want to say don’t be discouraged. Good luck.

Where are you heading, if I may ask. Is this something you’ve been thinking about for a while or just with recent developments? I’m very disappointed that Canada didn’t immediately start publicly inviting STEM people north and spending lots to create openings and programs.

That covers some Chinese departures over a period prior to trumps policies but there are a lot more nationalities to cover and more recently I would expect the number to increase substantially. Thanks for the info though. I’m sure there’s more movement to come.

Sure, MRNA is proof the guberment is trying to poison you but the hormonal problems caused by plastics that increase the numbers of people you hate is just fine. It’s tiresome.

I had a brief look and confirmed this is similar to our property taxes in North America. The exception being that it is tied to net worth and not just the value of the property. Overall that might mean you pay more but it depends on your wealth and the rate the canton charges. Interesting though, thanks.

I’m against child quotas but for education on what exactly population growth and shrinkage entails. Let people understand what the implications and solutions are for the various scenarios of the future. Ultimately I see a profound lack of hope for our futures is leading young people to not want to bring a child into the world older generations have built. I am with them 100%. A solution I have introduced in previous discussions is a suicide pill that any elderly that can no longer be supported by society could take to avoid and painful and lonely death. That has not gone over well, lol.

I’m not a bigot at all. I’m only questioning how practical mass immigration is in the modern age.

I saw that but the article also listed many recent attacks that were the case.

Unfortunately and as with everything, the actions of a few cause a reaction that affects so many. The rise of the right has been driven primarily by immigration of people looking for the promise of democratic freedom and opportunity. These incidents are used to prevent this migration entirely.

Is this right? Should people have a right to migrate in hopes of a better life? Some you might identify as far left don’t feel boarders should exist at all. Others believe that borders should be sealed and only people who would benefit the society within should enter (sadly based on the colour of their skin as well). The obvious answer is that the best practice probably falls somewhere in the middle.

I have two takes on this. The first is that immigration should be ended as we are entering the end of our societies ability to support existing populations with food and shelter, due to climate change. The second is that regardless of circumstances, never flee your country if you don’t like what’s going on. Fight to change it, even if you have to die trying. That is what I plan to do.
